Netflix is proud to debut new trailers and cast announcements for three of their upcoming series, including Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. As the sequel to the hit Studio Trigger anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners that itself is an anime spinoff of Cyberpunk 2077 video game by CD Projekt Red, it’s certainly the one title people are paying the most attention to. Dare I say it, it might even be the most long-awaited of the three series since Cyberpunk: Edgerunners made its debut in 2022.
However, that doesn’t mean that we should only pay attention to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 to the exclusion of the other two. Many Blue Eye Samurai fans will undoubtedly be looking forward to its upcoming second season, which is indeed one of the featured series here. Fans have been waiting since 2023 for that, which is still a significant wait. The only thing that’s not a sequel here is BASS X MACHINA. That one is a completely original series, but it already looks pretty good. It’s hard to argue against a Weird Western series with steampunk, after all, and especially since it has a Black man be the star of the show. In these days of the government itself going after anything for being even remotely “DEI”, it’s still good to see some creators defying that.
Ah, but you’ve probably had enough of me talking about these series. Here are the trailers and cast members of the aforementioned Netflix series below:
