Astro Note Ep. 5 is an episode that surprised me. However, it was a most welcome surprise for me. I honestly didn't expect the story to give me the plot twist it did, and all revolving around young Ren Wakabayashi and his suprising desires to boot. Astro Note Ep. 5: Details The true star of the

Kaiju No. 8 Ep. 3 "Revenge Match" gives us a training montage scene, but it's not the typical version of this trope. The vast majority of those training scenes typically shows the main character getting better or even just plain showing off how awesome they are. With Kafka Hibino though, it's more

Astro Note Ep. 4 is really quite an interesting twist in the anime. Mostly because much of it turns into a mystery-focused ghost story. A ghost story in which the "ghost" turns out to be quite the skillful gourmand to boot. Astro Note Ep. 4: Details The dog is a big part of this episode too, in all
![Kaiju No. 8 Ep. 2 "The Kaiju Who Defeats Kaiju": Silly Kaiju Man [Review]](https://thathollywoodshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/336cdd03-e1d0-4203-8cbb-03f1e0e79b3a-660x371.webp "336cdd03-e1d0-4203-8cbb-03f1e0e79b3a")
The episode just previous to Kaiju No. 8 Ep. 2 "The Kaiju Who Defeats Kaiju" showed us just how terrifying and horrific kaiju are. Now though, this episode shows us just how silly a kaiju can be. Especially when the kaiju was just very recently a man named Kafka Hibino, and doesn't quite know how

Astro Note Ep. 3 features quite a bit of yummy and zany hijinks for this episode. Mostly revolving a bento boxed lunch that everyone seemingly wants. Really though, who can blame them when it looks as good as it does in this episode? Astro Note Ep. 3: Details The "dog" is already giving you an idea

Mars Express is one of the most fascinating animated films I've ever watched. It starts out as a murder mystery noir story taking place in a future world where the Solar System is in the process of being colonized, and sapient robots live alongside humanity. However, it ends as a science fiction
Sasaki and Peeps gives us plots galore being brewed up, as you might expect from Ep. 15 "Concealment and Infiltration" with that title. Complete with both the faking of a death and an undercover operation to investigate the death game faction. It's all great ingredients for some serious political
Sasaki and Peeps brings us one big magical SNAFU in Ep. 14 "Death Games and Demons", complete with a bloody fight and civilian deaths. As you might imagine, this is as huge a problem as the title suggests. And yet, it still falls short of a true action-packed episode due to the lack of action
Who could've guessed that a film about a stinky fisherwoman and a wicker husband would end up being one of the most romantic movies of the year? For all its vulgarity and absurdity, Wicker weaves a surprisingly sincere, shockingly sweet fable of against-all-odds love and a dismantling critique of
