Avatar: Seven Havens Hits NYCC
New York Comic Con just dropped a ton of Avatar: Seven Havens information on the fans. The minds behind Avatar: The Last Airbender announced that Book 3 and 4 of the newest Avatar animated show are coming. And there’s another animated spinoff already in the pipeline.
And, when we say the pipeline, we mean that literally. Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos is crashing onto Paramount+ next. Executive producers Ethan Spaulding and Sehaj Sethi are at the helm for Seven Havens. Series stars Saheli Khan, Aishu Devan and Major Curda also shared their excitement. A World of Chaos indeed
If you were around for the beginning of Avatar: The Last Airbender nearly 2 decades ago, This entire sequence has to feel surreal. The Legend of Korra worked as a successor series. But for reasons of changing TV landscape and other factors, never grabbed the hold that the original animated show did.
Now, we live in a world where there’s a live-action adaptation, a new animated continuation, and another sequel already on the way. It’s dizzying to see how much the Avatar fandom has grown since 2020. And, from the looks of these announcements, don’t expect the wave to stop anytime soon. Check out our first look at Avatar Kuruk down below.
Avatar Kuruk?
In Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos a rebellious teenage Avatar bucks thousands of years of tradition by choosing to learn the four elements through globetrotting adventures, staying one step ahead of his angry teacher, rowdy pirates, and chaotic spirits – all while helping the world in his own unique ways.
The upcoming series is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios with co-creator Bryan Konietzko serving as showrunner.
What Is The Story This Time?
“Avatar: Seven Havens Books 3 and 4 will continue the story of Avatar Pavi and her twin sister Nisha. The first three episodes of Book 1 premiered globally on Paramount+ today, and will be followed by episodes 4-6 on Friday, October 16, episodes 7-9 on Friday, October 23, and episodes 10-13 on Friday, October 30. “
