Snoop X Eli Roth Is An Unexpected Crossover
Ice Cream Man is fast-approaching and you can expect some surprises. None bigger than Snoop Dogg joining the project. He’s got original music for the Eli Roth movie. And, you can hear some of it in the new trailer up top. (Interestingly enough, this movie isn’t a remake of the 1995 movie. It’s a different beast entirely!)
The track is vaguely menacing. Snoop is hamming it up as a sinister ice cream man. Also, we get some footage from Roth’s movie for good measure. With horror on a massive upswing lately. Who Stars In The Film?
A lot of folks are down for this summer bloodbath. Ari Millen, Benjamin Byron Davis, Eli Roth, Karen Cliche, and Dylan Hawco all hear that music. Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, and Charlie Storey will be running scared too.
Roth writes the script alongside Noah Belson. Composer Brandon Roberts helps steer this scary tale on the mixing table. Nas also executive produces the soundtrack. Steve Newburn is bringing the special effects makeup to life with Academy Award-winner Adrien Morot.

Creatives Talk Ice Cream Man
In the run up to this summer release, Belson gave an interview where he explained how this madcap idea came to fruition. Apparently, He had been working with Roth back in the early 2000s. The script has taken on multiple forms, but now Ice Cream Man is ready to make a trip around the block.
“Long ago in the before times, about two decades ago roughly, Eli hired me to write a draft and an idea he had for a movie about a mysterious ice cream man who caused his kids to go nuts and start doing absolutely horrible things,” Belson smirked. “I had a lot of fun writing it and even more fun hashing out ideas with Eli since when we get together we’re both basically 12 again, which is the age we were when we met.”
” Over the years we’d often discussed ice cream Man, as well as tossed around new and horrific ways for kids to murder people. Some of them weren’t even for the script, but when I can think of a new way for kids to brutalize adults, Eli is the first person I call,” the writer deadpanned.
