Alice and Steve

“Alice and Steve” is a new comedy coming to Hulu starring Jemaine Clement and Nicola Walker. This series proves that sometimes your worst enemy could be your best friend. In the series we see what happens when Steve starts dating his best friend Alice’s daughter. This escalate throughout the series as Alice tries to break them up all while somehow keeping her friend and daughter in the process.

You can stream “Alice and Steve” on Hulu starting June 8.

With the release of “Alice and Steve” I spoke with Clement and Walker about their roles in the series. In our conversation we talk about the writing and how it allows them to fast-forward to a point where we as an audience get the clear picture that they are best friends. They share with me one of their fun moments on set that we won’t be seeing in the series, as well as chat about Steve’s dog. Its a fun conversation that you can check out below!

About “Alice and Steve”

Alice is devastated when her best friend Steve starts dating her 26-year-old daughter Izzy. She’s going to lose her best friend and her daughter in one fell swoop. Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship. Unfortunately for her, Steve’s more than ready for the attack, and what begins as a perfect friendship, devolves into an all-out feud.

A hilarious, messy, and complicated exploration of friendship, family, and love, Alice and Steve is an anti-romantic comedy that asks the question, how far would you go for love – or revenge? Will Alice forgive Steve? Will Steve and Izzy make a relationship work? Amongst all the questions hanging in the balance, one thing is certain; their lives will never be the same again.
