Vanessa became a journalist because she read a lot of Superman and Flash comics as a child. With a degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University, she’s been in the press game since college and specializes in drag queens, superheroes, women’s basketball, and pretty much anything that centers LGBTQ+ people. She’s an editor, interviewer, critic, social media specialist, and all-around media baddie.
Vanessa has a decade of editing and writing under her belt. She has interviewed Academy Award winners, 4-time MVPs, Drag Race Hall-of-Famers, and many others. She covers conventions, local events, and women’s sports games, along with TV and film reviews.
