Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 10 "His Butler, Assenting" finally ends the mystery that has been haunting Weston College. All in a rather stunning and dramatic way to boot. It's certainly a great way to wrap up the Public School Arc, even if this season of the anime apparently isn't quite

Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 9 "His Butler, Having a Laugh" starts to unravel the mystery around Derrick Arden. You know, the one at the heart of why Ciel is even in Weston College to begin with? Only, in order to tell that story, we must first go back and find out why there is even a

Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 8 "His Butler, Locking Up" concludes what is possibly the most ludicrous cricket in anime history, which cannot possibly be all that many. However, this episode also leads us into the climax of this entire arc. The game truly is indeed afoot. Black Butler

Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 7 "His Butler, Final Match" gives us the final part of the most...unique cricket match in anime history. Mostly because it's a match where our POV team is just barely skirting the edges of the rules of cricket. All without technically cheating too...most of the

Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 6 "His Butler, Scheming" gives us a...most unique game of cricket. Mostly because it's a cricket game where one of the teams treats the rules as a suggestion...if even that. Of course, this is the team that Ciel is on, and he's going to make sure that they win.

Black Butler -Public School Arc- Ep. 5 "His Butler, Gaining Admittance" begins a rather fun sub-arc within the Public School Arc. That sub-arc being Ciel having to do the one thing he's not particularly good at: sports. But first, he has to actually prepare for it. Black Butler -Public School Arc-
DC Studios is branching out. Instead of following the normal comic-book movie playbook, we're getting a movie based on the Batman villain, Clayface. Clayface is an interesting look at what we can do when a comic-book villain gets humanized a bit. The film stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, an
"The Debut" turns a comedy that pokes fun at the sincerity of the local stage and elevates it to a fascinating character study of a woman on the edge. While still being hilarious.
The 2026 reboot of Magic Knight Rayearth shows us that friendship is quite powerful in the magic department in Ep. 4 "Our Battle". It's a lesson from My Little Pony, but it's quite applicable to this anime too. Our trio of heroines will need that power, since this is their bloodiest battle to date.
