In any other show, let alone anime, DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION Ep. 16 would be the end. It's certainly the end of Tokyo and a good chunk of the cast, that's for certain. However, we already know from Ep. 0 that there's still more to the story after the end, so we can expect more to come.
All in all, DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION Ep. 15 is a surprisingly bleak episode for this anime. Or maybe not surprisingly if you've been watching the past few episodes. Things have been getting pretty dark lately. Unfortunately, things seem like they will get darker before the end comes.

It's pretty clear that DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION Ep. 11 is where SHIP gets real. Not just the human organization, but also the aliens in the actual mothership as well. Everything is getting real when violence starts to look like the only answer to violence being directed at them. DEAD
