Jack in the Box is a chain of American fast food restaurants consisting of over 2,712 locations (mostly in the U.S. West Coast) that effectively serves as a competitor to other fast food chains like McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr. / Hardee’s, Burger King, etc.; serving burgers and fries, chicken, and even tacos among other fast food staples. Meanwhile, Marvel is an enormous franchise of superhero stories that has expanded far beyond its comic book origins and into a multimedia empire, with much of the empire now consisting of a franchise of live-action movies in the form of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). With the newest addition to the MCU being the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, starring the iconic Dr. Doom as the villain of the hour. In fact, Dr. Doom’s new movie is why we’re getting a combination of these two unlikely franchises for today.
Jack in the Box is proud to announce a team-up with Marvel for an exclusive, limited-time collaboration for a themed Marvel menu. The star of this menu is the “Doomsday Dipping Box”, which will feature favorites like Popcorn Chicken and Mozzarella Sticks served in custom Avengers: Doomsday packaging. As you can tell by the name, each box will feature a trio of dipping sauces, consisting of a “mystery Assemble sauce”, a “Mutant Marinara” sauce (specifically for the Mozzarella Sticks), and the normal Jack in the Box buttermilk ranch sauce for those who want the classics.
Not only that, but each Doomsday Dipping Box will come with a blind-bagged collectible magnet. Each magnet depicts a member of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, with Jack himself being the sole exception in one of them. The magnets also all fit together to form a single large image as further incentive to collect them all.

When and Where?
The Doomsday Dipping Box becomes available starting today on November 5, 2026. You can purchase it at any participating Jack in the Box nationwide in the U.S. through the Jack app or at JackintheBox.com. Keep in mind though that this will be a limited time item, and it will be while supplies last, so you might want to get it while you still can.
Jack in the Box Teaming Up With Marvel for…Dipping Sauces?

To be honest, I expected more out of a collaboration between Jack in the Box and Marvel. Yes, that box looks nice, and the magnets are nice collectibles for you to own if you already are a regular customer at Jack in the Box. But as a whole…this collab feels like a bit of a disappointment. Especially since the only new menu item here are just two dipping sauces. It will certainly be interesting to see what they taste like, but for a collab of that fame, I would’ve expected a new food item instead of just new dipping sauces.
Maybe this collab sprang up so fast that Jack in the Box didn’t have time to come up with anything much more new than sauces? The design of the boxes along with the production of collectible magnets suggests considerable time and resources went into making it, so that seems unlikely. Honestly, it just seems like Jack in the Box is banking entirely on the strength of the Marvel brand for this collab, and isn’t trying to introduce much in the way of novelty. Ah well, maybe the next collab will give us a new actual food item to try out.
