I wear blue-light blocking glasses every day. I get migraines from staring at a computer screen. Most of the time in the past, those kind of glasses have looked pretty dorky. GUNNAR Optiks is here to change that and they do change that in a fashion sense, but not in a lens sense. The new Dex Cyberpunk 2077 glasses are stylish as hell and look very cool, but they fall back into the same issues with the lenses that I had with the GUNNAR Loop glasses previously.
I gave the Fallout Brotherhood of Steel glasses my highest marks, and I’m wearing them right now as I type this review. I long wore other blue light blocking glasses I’ve had since 2020 but these were the first to change my mind about it. Now the GUNNAR Dex glasses have the same slight zoom on lenses that shouldn’t have that kind of visual change. They should just be normal lenses that have that yellow/amber tint to them. However, when watching or looking at anything, its easy to tell that these Dex glasses have that same issue.
For glasses that are supposed to help with my own migraines, they were actually causing them more than not. So for the amber/yellow lenses, I can’t recommend them.
Cool For The Sake Of Cool Though

For fans of Cyberpunk 2077 who have prescription lenses or need something for a cosplay, or just want glasses that look cool and can be sunglasses, the Dex model is really awesome. So those issues with the yellow/amber lenses aside, these are still great for any fan of the CD Projekt Red game. They fit sungly, even on my gigantic head, so they work for almost any head size. They also wrap around your head so even your peripherals are protected.
If you can get around the slight magnification, these will work for fans of the game that want some style to their blue-light blockers.
