‘Locked’ – Bill Skarsgård | THS Interview

Locked Bill Skarsgard

If there’s one thing Bill Skarsgård will do, it’s steal whatever scene he is in. And when he is the sole focus of most of that film? Dial that up to eleven and you get Locked, the new thriller by director David Yarovesky (Brightburn) and producer Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Drag Me To Hell).

When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive in a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear.

We were able to catch up with Skarsgård at the New York premiere of the film, and he broke down the hardest parts of acting solo in a car, how much acting with a tennis ball sucks, and why people keep coming back to the theater for films like this.

You can also check out our review of the film here. Locked itself is a crazy, intense ride (no pun intended) that leaves you with little room to breathe at times. It comes out in theaters March 21st!
