You’ll get the chance to see this sci-fi thriller before it officially comes out in theaters. Hot Spot comes from the writing and directing duo of Agnieska Smoczyńska and Robert Bolesto. It stars Noomi Rapace and releases in theaters on August 21st.

What Is Hot Spot?
Hot Spot is a throwback that’s inspired by movies like Mad Max, Total Recall, and other classics of the genre. The movie looks to show off a future where our own society is unrecognizable. In Hot Spot, set in a near-future society ruled by sentient A.I., a private eye investigates a murder case only to discover a rebel group capable of undermining the digital overlord. As the detective’s identity slowly unravels, his world enters a state of hypnotic meltdown.
It stars Andrzej Konopka, Noomi Rapace, and Reika Kirishima.
