Starting Off Season 2 On The Stoop

FX is getting ready for Adults season two on their air. And, to celebrate the occasion they made their way down to the Melrose Trading Post to sell some awesome vintage finds with WhatNot. In their booth at the market, they were selling some carefully selected pieces. Plus, there was free cold brew or matcha there for attendees. We even managed to snag one of the free Adults tote bags they were giving away! Check out even more from the event down below!

Adults Stoop Sale Hits Melrose Trading Post

A mini version of a brownstone stuck out a lot while walking to the Melrose Trading Posts this weekend. Adults Season 2 is headed to FX and they decided to get in on some fashion vending. The Adults Stoop Sale was there for dedicated fans and the fashion-curious on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Once you hit the marketplace, there were signs leading you to the big stoop.

You really couldn’t miss the big brown stoop with the poster on the side of it! Once we made our way there, That Hollywood Show managed to grab a latte while the Whatnot team got some new pieces on the floor. ASTRO is a force in the world of that platform. @astro_369_ introduced us to some delightfully retro items. The live chat, which was on a live videoboard during the Stoop Sale wanted camis and they got them.

How Did Whatnot Work?

On site, a seller like our friend Astro would start the stream welcome people in. Then, As people scroll through the collection on offer inside of the app, they requested to see certain items. The chat really was involved in the experience for the entire time. Astro kept everybody engaged Talk to people out For the afternoon while managing the commenters. People would buy items and they would get whisked off to the side ready to be packaged and shipped.

The entire effect is very reminiscent of other online shopping platforms but with the added fun of a live chat commenting on every single piece that got showcased. Very unique, and something I could easily see myself using. There is a Jojo Siwa shirt in particular that I would have loved to get my hands on.

What’s The Show About?

FX’s “Adults” is an ensemble comedy series about a group of twenty-somethings in New York leaning on each other to navigate love, work, friendship and family. Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele) are five friends crashing together in Samir’s childhood home. Created by Ben Kronengold & Rebecca Shaw, the show puts a generational lens on the wins, losses and humiliations of being in your twenties.

THS’s Take on Adults:

Do you love an ensemble comedy that is unburdoned of the constraints of broadcast mandates? And, this one is actually getting a Season 2! A rarity in this age of entertainment. So, go support it! I think this show is charming without being overly sentimental. A no-brainer!
