You get the feeling that Spider-Man: Brand New Day lit the match that has carried into the ticket presale numbers you’re seeing right now.
What’s Up With Infinity Vision?
A new distinction that film fans might not be aware of is Infinity Vision. Walt Disney Studios unveiled this certification at Cinemacon this year as a way to ensure that you see both Avengers Endgame: Encore and Avengers Doomsday on the biggest brightest most immersive screen possible. It’s not it’s own format with dimensions like IMAX, but rather a certification that this particular screen meets the qualifications of “The best.” IMAX would probably do that too! And, Avengers Endgame: Encore will also play in that format too! But, if you don’t have an IMAX or miss out on those screenings, here’s the best possible screen experience for you. Think Nintendo’s Product Seal of Approval-type vibes.
“INFINITY VISION is a certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) theaters, meaning moviegoers are guaranteed an exceptional film presentation,” the studio says. “This includes big screens, with bright images and outstanding sound. When you see the INFINITY VISION badge, you know you are in for an incredible theatrical experience.”
What Are The Avengers Up Against?
In “Avengers Endgame: Encore,” after devastating events wiped out half the world’s population, the remaining heroes struggle to move forward. Ultimately, they must come together to restore order and harmony in the universe and bring their loved ones back in a dramatic showdown against Thanos.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee serve as executive producers.
