A Fan-Favorite Is Back!
The biggest party this side of Hall H is back for 2026. San Diego Comic Con will once again host the Fandom Party. This year, the shindig is presented by Halo: Campaign Evolved. There’s some glamorous guest stars in store for the 2026 edition as well!
Thursday July 23 sees guests descend on The Fandom Party for a night of entertainment right near all the action. San Diego Comic-Con is the place to be for all your favorite news, cosplay, and announcements. This yearly gathering about to get even hotter.
Fandom Party 2026
Welcome back to FLOAT at the Hard Rock Hotel. Fandom Party 2026 will rocking live from that delightful venue. Attendees can look forward to an enthusiastic show on July 23 at 7pm-11pm. There’s so much to discuss about one of the most Anticipated parts of every San Diego Comic Con. Let’s get you up to speed.
Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has a cover band called The Coverups. And, they’ll be commanding the stage during the Fandom Party. In addition, Xbox is Halo: campaign Evolved is this year’s presenter for the Festivities. Guests in attendance will get to try the new Xbox game ahead of its July 28 launch. There will be a dedicated gaming area with a themed photo opportunity.
Suntory Global Spirits will also have a -196 Free Point Experience at the party. And, there’s exclusive merchandise from …And Out Comes the Wolf. (That’s a graphic novel and soon-to-be film fom Z2 Comics!) And, keep your eyes on Fandom’s social channels for more details.
What’s New For 2026?
- Step Into the Halo Universe: Dive into a dedicated Halo-themed play zone where attendees can get hands-on with Halo: Campaign Evolved starting the very night of the party, ahead of its official global launch on July 28. Fans can also step inside a custom Halo-themed photo booth to completely immerse themselves in the legendary gaming universe.
- -196 Freeze Point: Inspired by Japan’s beloved konbini culture, -196 brings an authentic taste of Japan to Comic Con where attendees can explore vibrant flavors, snap share-worthy photos, and enjoy real, fruit-forward refreshments.
- Custom Merch by Z2 Comics: Longtime pop-culture partner Z2 Comics returns to the party, offering attendees exclusive, custom-designed merchandise that celebrates the upcoming graphic novel and feature film, …And Out Comes the Wolf.
THS’s Take On Another Fun SDCC Event
For a lot of SDCC attendees, the fandom party is the hottest ticket in town. Yeah it’s going to be hard to get in the hall H for Marvel Studios big presentation over the weekend. But, the Fandom Party is invite only and always holds a few surprises. Those of us who’ve been here at THS for a while remember The All-American Rejects tearing the place down in the past.
You would have to think that Billy Joel Armstrong will try to match some of that effort. In fact, the covers for all of these different artists could be a massive highlight for people in attendance. Folks who love Halo, you’re gonna wanna find Fandom’s social channels.
