What happens when you take The Breed and mix it with influencers? You get the new movie A Breed Apart. The new film from Lionsgate takes inspiration from the classic horror movie and adds new twists to it. It stars Grace Caroline Currey, Virginia Gardner, Riele Downs, Zak Steiner, Page Kennedy, Joey Bragg, Troy Gentile, and Hayden Panettiere.

When Violet accepts an invitation to a private island with some of the world’s most famous social influencers, she expects a weekend of unrivaled viral opportunity. She soon becomes part of her own horrific reality show when the guests are pitted against each other to capture the island’s legendary man-eating dogs before they become victims of the monstrous canines. Hayden Panettiere, Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey star in a hilariously harrowing tale of terror.
A Breed Apart releases in theaters, on demand, and on digital on May 16th, 2025. It was written and directed by The Furst Brothers, Griff Furst and Nathan Furst.
