‘Stop! That! Train!’: Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia & Symone On Fast-Paced Comedy

“STOP! THAT! TRAIN!” is in theaters tomorrow and That Hollywood Show sat down with a trio of Glamazonian Express royalty. Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Marcia Marcia Marcia star in the new film. It’s a send-up of comedy classics like Airplane! So, expect to laugh a ton at the hijinks of these highly capable queens as they try to escape a certified catastrophe.

Catching up with Stop That Train Stars

With “STOP! THAT! TRAIN!” about to make a dramatic debut on the big screen, I spoke with Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Marcia Marcia Marcia. They play Ayshleigh (the name still makes me chuckle even now), Amber (our mean-girl ringleader), and Ali (who might not know what’s going on in any situation on this train?)

As the resident stewardesses, these three queens make life a little harder than you might expect for Ginger Minj and Jujubee’s protagonists on this ride. But, they are so darn funny that you still end up loving them.

During our conversation we talked about different bits of physical comedy, special guests on-set and more. All of this talk circles the station about being in such a big studio release and how it relates to their journeys so far. The Queens also told me about how their personal input helps mold their characters amidst all the chaos in “STOP! THAT! TRAIN!”. It was a great ride and you can check it out below!

“STOP! THAT! TRAIN! follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express.”

“When a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.”

Adam Shankman directs “STOP! THAT! TRAIN!” from a script written by Christina Friel and Connor Wright. The film also guest stars Latrice Royale, Monet X Change, Rachel Bloom, Matt Rogers, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Visage and Chris Parnell.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Raven-Symone, Joel McHale, Drew Droege, Natasha Leggero, Charo, and Brian Jordan Alvarez also guest star.
