‘Unabomber’: Janus Mentz On His Choice For Ted Kaczynski [THS Interview]

New on Netflix is “Unabomber”, a feature film that spotlights the teenage life of Ted Kaczynski. Specifically his experience as a 16-year-old at Harvard. As well as the final moments during his infamous manhunt. The film, directed by Janus Metz, features stars Jacob Tremblay, Russell Crowe, and Shailene Woodley.

“Unabomber” will be available on Netflix September 25th.

Janus Metz Praises Jacob Tremblay’s Performance

With the release of “Unabomber”, I spoke with Metz about the film. One of the highlights of the conversation was the choice of Tremblay as the young Kaczynski. He shares with us how he always had Tremblay in mind for the role. We also talk about the tall task of the young actor having to go toe-to-toe in a sense with Russell Crowe, and having to emote a lot of internal feelings.
