Godzilla is Toho’s iconic radioactive kaiju in its home nation of Japan, and the legendary king of the monsters under the Legendary Pictures banner here in the U.S.. Meanwhile, Mofusand is a Japanese brand of merchandise and art featuring some very adorable cats by artist Junko Noji, known much more popularly by her handle “Juno“. So what do these two franchises have in common? Well, normally, they wouldn’t have anything in common at all. However, as you can see by the title of this story, that’s about to change real soon.
Toho International is proud to announce a collaboration with Mofusand to make some of the most adorable Godzilla merch you’ve ever seen. This new merch comprises a collection of collectibles, including an adorably kitty-shaped plushie and keychain with said kitty wearing an adorably chibi-fied Godzilla suit, and kitty-branded shirts and a hoodie. Alas, they are all apparently limited edition, so if you want them, then you might want to hurry up and get them before they’re gone.

Toho International, the Japanese studio’s U.S.-based subsidiary, revealed that Godzilla will be appearing in the most adorable form yet. The King of the Monsters is collaborating with the playful charm of Mofusand for official licensed products, blending kaiju culture with contemporary lifestyle design through a new collection featuring a plushie and key chain. The collection is set to hit the Godzilla store on July 14, 2026.
The limited edition assortment reimagines Godzilla through Mofusand’s signature art style, creating a unique crossover that appeals to both longtime collectors and modern character-fandom audiences.
Godzilla x Mofusand Looking Like a Successful Crossover Merchandising Operation
Honestly, this collaboration between Godzilla and Mofusand already looks like a very promising partnership. I mean, just look at that merch. It’s all the heart-melting cuteness you could ever want in an entire line of collectible merch, from soft plushies to cute clothes. What more could you want? Well, I can already imagine more kinds of merch that could result from this partnership, but that’s not for today since this is all the merch there is right now. We’ll have to wait for more info from Toho on that later.
Fortunately, we do know that all of this Godzilla x Mofusand merch is…actually reasonably priced for once. As in: the prices are in the $18 to $60 USD range. It’s a bit of a hit to your wallet, but still perfectly affordable to the average person. It’s not like some multi-hundred dollar priced merch that’s available only to the filthy rich. It’s stuff that perfectly normal people can buy without having to spend months saving up money for. For that alone, I salute them.
