AMC FearFest is one of our favorite institutions that bridges the gap between an “old-school’ Halloween and the new era we live in. The event on AMC has been running for the entire month of October with a calendar of horror movies and TV. Now, it’s the final week of October, and the home stretch is in sight. We are a couple of days away from Halloween on Saturday, and that means it’s time to celebrate. They’ve actually released the full schedule for programming for October 26th-October 31st (and beyond). The 26th is for Friday the 13th, with almost every F13 movie being shown. Then Tuesday is for Freddy Krueger. Wednesday is for Final Destination. Thursday is an all-purpose kind of day with plenty of classics and pro wrestling right in the middle of it with TNA IMPACT!.
Finally, Halloween Eve and Halloween Day/Night are for the big man himself, Michael Myers. You’re getting EVERY Halloween movie in the strange/amazing order that AMC decides to run the films in. This eclectic and kind of cracked-out way to watch the movies is hilarious and makes it fun. October 31st sees Halloween (1978) playing twice.
But that’s not all. Because Halloween never ends, they’re going into November with a Halloween Hangover.
