Bruce Dickinson Returns With Solo Band For ‘PsychoGod Tour 2027’

Bruce Dickinson took the music world by storm with The Mandrake Project and the ensuing tours for that album. It was his first solo tour in over 20 years now the itch is back. He’s heading back out on tour with his band, comprised of guitarists Chris Declercq and Philip Näslund, bassist Tanya O’Callaghan, keyboardist Mistheria, and drummer Dave Moreno. The tour, PsychoGod is hitting headline shows and festivals across Europe and the UK.

Bruce Dickinson comments, “What we do is real and that’s so important right now. A real drummer, a real bass player, real guitarists, real keyboards – AI can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play. This band? They can really play!”

These upcoming shows promise to showcase a whole range of new material alongside fan favourites and deep cuts spanning his entire solo career. The November/December leg of the tour will feature support from Swedish progressive metal band, Evergrey.

You can read about the opening show of Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project tour. We reviewed it at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California. If you love Iron Maiden and haven’t heard Bruce Dickinson’s solo material, you’re in for a treat. If you haven’t ever seen Bruce Dickinson live, his current band is fantastic and these shows should be an excellent time. I’ve been to three shows now with Bruce as a solo act, and all three have been among the best I’ve seen recently. His solo material is some of my favorite new metal that’s been released.

They’re doing this tour on such a strange schedule because Iron Maiden have also announced a US/North America leg of their Run For Your Lives tour. Check out the dates for that right here. I’ve got tickets for the Los Angeles show on this tour. So it’s looking like 2027 might be the year of Iron Maiden and Bruce Dickinson.
