Well, it looks like Tom Hardy and the Harrigans aren’t going anywhere. Paramount+ has officially renewed MobLand for Season 3, announcing the news more than two weeks before the crime series returns for its second season. The renewal also confirms that Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren will all be back for another round of bloody family drama. This comes after months of uncertainty surrounding Hardy’s future with the series. Reports originally surfaced in May claiming the actor would not return for a potential third season following alleged behind-the-scenes clashes during production of Season 2. Then other reports subsequently disputed that Hardy had actually been fired. By June, the indication was that Hardy and the show’s producers had found a path forward. Now, Paramount+ has mercifully put an official end to any lingering speculation, confirming that Hardy will return as Harry Da Souza for Season 3.
Also returning are Brosnan and Mirren, reprising their roles as crime family patriarch and matriarch Conrad and Maeve Harrigan. The early renewal is a strong show of confidence in the series, which quickly became one of Paramount+’s biggest dramas following its debut. Before we get to Season 3, however, there is still plenty of unfinished business for the Harrigans. MobLand Season 2 premieres globally on September 18, 2026, exclusively on Paramount+.
