One of the Batman’s most iconic stories is making it’s animated feature debut. “Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall” tells the story of the time Bane came to Gotham and literally broke Batman’s back. This film is part one of three and features Anson Mount as the voice of Batman and Michael Mando as the voice of Bane.

‘Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall’ will be available on participating digital platforms. Including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, and more on August 25. On September 8, it will be available to own on 4K UHD™, Blu-ray™, and DVD from online and physical retailers.

Talking Breaking The Bat At SDCC

With the release of “Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall”, we spoke with Mando along with producers Rick Morales and Jim Krieg about the film. In our chat in the THS Press Suite, we talked about an adaptation of the classic story in a more comic accurate format as well as capturing the brutality of the one of Batman’s darkest moments. Mando tells us about finding his voice for Bane, and described some of the different emotions that his character was going through as that iconic beatdown was taking place.
