Carrie is coming back courtesy of Prime Video. Mike Flanagan’s new series hits the streamer on October 6th, with spooky season already rolling. Summer Howell plays the seminal Horror character in the new adaptation. The old Stephen King story is a fan favorite, and you’re gonna get an entirely different generation of fans claiming it as their own after they see this show.
Over the years, Flanagan has become something of a Stephen King whisperer. Taking some roads less traveled in that extensive catalog of stories. But, as fans of the horror director will no doubt point towards, he knows how to weave a story of his own. It’s a tall task adapting something like Carrie.
