It’s time for some throwback fun on Disney Channel as the Cheetah Girls Next Gen take shape. Disney Plus and The cable network announced the new lineup for the iconic girl group. Raven-Symone and Deborah Martin Chase are here as executive producers. Adrienne Bailon is back as Chanel as well.

The Cheetah Girls Next Gen Details
Disney Plus and the Disney Channel welcome fans back to the world of the Cheetah Girls. A new generation fo stars is ready to put on those sweat suits and belt out some hit songs. The Cheetah Girls Next Gen include Leah Sava’ Jeffries, Carmen Sanchez, Kaileen Chang and Sophie Lennon. Now, It’s important to note that the new movie will also be music driven. It wouldn’t be Cheetah Girls without it!
In addition, some of the old band is here to show the new girls how its done. Raven-Symone and Adrienne Bailon are here as Galleria and Chanel. Lynn Whitfield and Lori Alter are also coming back as Dorothea and Juanita. And, yes, Sabrina Bryan is also back as Dorinda. (A special appearance!)

A Bit Side-Questy, But A Big Moment At The End
T It’s pretty apparent that the people over at Disney Family and Animation are ecstatic to have more Cheetah Girls on the way. As millennials grow older and have nostalgia around their favorite Disney Channel Original movies, there’s also a growing contingent of younger viewers that are attached to a bunch of new franchises like Zombies and Descendants.
“The Cheetah Girls has always been about friendship, music, and empowering young people to use their voice,” – Ayo Davis, president, Disney Kids & Family.
She continues, “That spirit connected deeply with a generation of fans, and it still resonates today. Bringing this dynamic new group of young stars to the franchise allows us to continue that legacy for a new era of kids and families.”
What’s The Movie About?
Disney explains what’s coming, “The story picks up when Cheetah Girls Galleria (Symoné) and Chanel (Bailon), alongside Galleria’s daughter Faith (Jeffries) and her three friends, travel to Africa to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary.”
“Along the way, these four teen girls test their friendship, find their voice, and discover the true Cheetah spirit as they save the preserve and ultimately take the stage as the new Cheetah Girls.”
