Experiencers, believers, and storytellers will descend on Burbank, CA this weekend. Greg Bishop and Creepy Kingdom are launching Power to the Paper: Jailbreaking Disclosure, a one-night only UFO art show, lecture series, and roundtable event.
Curated by Bishop, Power to the Paper explores how artists, researchers, experiencers, filmmakers, and storytellers use images, symbols, paper, prints, and personal expression to open new conversations around disclosure. From the recent premiere of Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day to the release of government UFO docs, what better time to explore the extraterrestrial and unexplained?
What to Expect at Power to the Paper
The event begins with a viewing of art from 10 artists, who will speak on their encounter experiences.
Filmmaker Dean Alioto, director of The McPherson Tape, will present on experiencers in the past and future. The McPherson Tape is widely recognized as the first found footage film.
Later, Creepy Kingdom’s Shannon McGrew will host roundtable conversations. Participants include Alioto, Bishop, Ryan Grulich, and acclaimed horror director and UFO enthusiast Darren Lynn Bousman. Bousman is known for his work on the Saw franchise. Their conversation will explore art, storytelling, and the encounter experience in reality and pop culture.
In addition to art and the lecture series, Power to the Paper: Jailbreaking Disclosure will feature rare flying saucer and UAP-inspired music, hosted refreshments, and tarot readings by Dr. Thea Wirsching, an evolutionary astrologer, tarot reader, scholar, and author.
