The Paul Schrader drama Affliction makes its Blu-ray debut in April, thanks to Shout! Studios. The new 2K scan of the film features Nick Nolte, Sissy Spacek, James Coburn, and Willem Dafoe. If you’ve never seen Affliction, check out this synopsis.
In Affliction, Boston University professor Whitehouse tells of the events leading up to the disappearance of his older Wade. The police officer who investigates is deeply troubled, and the murder case drains his mental acuity to the point of a total mental collapse.
There aren’t any listed special features yet, but we’ll keep this updated if Shout! Studios announces any before the April 16th release.
Scream Factory and Shout! Factory are up to a bunch with their upcoming releases, including the first time ever for Killer Klowns From Outer Space on 4K UHD. They seem to be back in their element with big-time releases on Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
