Heretic seems like one thing when you’re watching the trailer and it quickly turns into something unexpected. The movie from writers/directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods features what looks like a deadly game put on by Hugh Grant’s character, Mr. Reed. Here’s a synopsis from A24.
Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
