Disney+ reveals X-Men ’97 Season 2
It’s been a long time coming but the X-Men are finally back. Disney Plus revealed the release date for X-Men ’97 season two. Fans can pack the streaming service on July 1st for the anticipated batch of episodes. It’s not hyperbole to say that X-Men ’97 is one of the most beloved Disney Plus series in the entire catalog of Marvel shows.
In the new trailer Professor X, Magneto, Beast, Rogue, Nightcrawler and more are up against unknown threats in a new environment. Folks who remember the end of season one we’ll recall that the X-Men were scattered to the winds. Now, they have to find a way out of this time travel nightmare. Check out the trailer up top!
What’s going on with the mutants?
Disney+ knows what we want. Here’s a short synopsis! “X-Men ’97 Season 2 continues with the heroic mutant team of X-Men, divided and thrown across different eras in time as they struggle to navigate their return home. Meanwhile, back in the 1990s, suspicious foes and new strains of mutant intolerance are on the rise in the wake of the X-Men’s absence.”
X-Men ’97 Season 2 is nine episodes. The gang is back in the fold for S2! Ross Marquand is back as Professor X with Matthew Waterson as Magneto, and Ray Chase as Cyclops. Jennifer Hale is Jean Grey alongside Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, Lenore Zann as Rogue, and George Buza as Beast.
