It’s not hard to see that KPop Demon Hunters has attained global fame. Directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans have clearly made a hit with this animated film starring Arden Cho as Rumi, May Hong as Mira, and Ji-young Yoo as Zoey as a K-pop band who moonlights as demon hunters as a side job, protecting the world while they sing and dance their hearts out by day. As you might imagine from that plot, one of the biggest reasons why this movie has become such a hit is the music and dancing. All of which are heavily inspired by K-pop as the title implies. This, of course, naturally generates quite a bit of interest in K-pop music and choreography. Netflix has seen this interest, and is about to give us an in-depth look at it and how they went into the movie.

Netflix is proud to announce more KPop Demon Hunters media with a clip showcasing the choreography of “How It’s Done”. Not only that, but it’s fully animated in the style of the animated movie, with the movie’s original choreographers, consisting of Nain (Jam Republic), Leejung Lee (THEBLACKLABEL), and K-Tigers, performing the dance themselves. This clip isn’t the entirety of the series though. It’s merely a teaser for an entire series of such videos that will “break down the signature poses and formations”, and will stream exclusively on Netflix on November 2, 2026.

Now as for that clip of those upcoming KPop Demon Hunters choreography videos? Well, you can either watch it on YouTube, or just look below:

KPop Demon Hunters, directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, became a global phenomenon shortly following its release on June 20, 2025. The film is Netflix’s most popular film of all time, surpassing over 670 million views with 63 consecutive weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10.

It swept every award category: winning Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globes, as well as ten Annie Awards. Its breakout song “Golden” became the first K-pop track to win both an Oscar and a Grammy.

The soundtrack continues to make history as the first to place four songs simultaneously in the Billboard Hot 100 top ten, accumulating over 15 billion global streams. “Golden” held No. 1 on the Hot 100 for eight weeks — the longest such run by a female group this century — and was certified 5x Platinum.

KPop Demon Hunters Soon Debuting Choreography Series on Netflix

Kpop Demon Hunters fans, rejoice! Especially if you really liked the music and dancing in this animated movie. As you can see in that clip, this movie employs a unique animation style that looks almost like stop motion animation in terms of its quality. It’s not even due to a lack of budget either. You can clearly tell that the animators intended for the animation to have that kind of slightly janky look to thier dancing, making the CGI animation resemble something closer to claymation. Like something right out of Wallace & Gromit, really.

All in all, if you like stop motion animation as well as diving into the dancing of Kpop Demon Hunters, then you might also enjoy this upcoming series on Netflix. In fact, throughout the week starting on October 26, 2026; there will even be more clips showing off that upcoming series. You can check them all out on Netflix’s social media feeds, includiing on their official YouTube channel.
