Apple TV is debuting a new heartwarming Peanuts special titled, “Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy”. The film follows Snoopy after his beloved house is accidently sold at a yard sale. With Charlie Brown by his side, Snoopy goes on an adventure to find his doghouse, and along the way reminisce about what exactly makes it a home.
“Snoopy Presents: There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy” the show debuts July 31 on Apple TV.
Talking Snoopy With Mark Evestaff
With the release of the new special, I spoke with executive producer Mark Evestaff. He is a multi-award-winning executive producer and the showrunner for the Emmy-nominated “Snoopy in Space” and “The Snoopy Show”. He is now overseeing the new slate of Peanuts specials including this one.
In our conversation, we talked about the staying power of Charles Schulz’s characters and what makes them special. Also speaking of special Evestaff shares with us his thoughts on the themes of this special, including what makes Snoopy’s house so special. In an effort to cheer up his pal, Charlie Brown leads Snoopy on an adventure to find his old doghouse, and along the way, they learn what makes a house truly a home.
