The Official Trailer for ‘Helluva Boss’ Season Three Is Here and It Promises More Heartbreak

Fans have been waiting since 2024 to see what is going to become of Blitzø and Stolas in Prime Video’s raunchy demonic comedy Helluva Boss from beloved indie creator Vivienne Medrano. When season two ended, the couple seemed to be at odds with what they both wanted in their relationship. For the first two seasons, Goetia Prince Stolas and imp assassin Blitzø had a complicated situationship — in exchange for access to the powerful grimoire to go to Earth, Blitzø would spend the full moon with Stolas in a night of utter debauchery.

As their relationship progressed, it momentarily seemed as if things could actually work out for them. Unfortunately, the trailer release seems to promise more conflict while Stolas deals simultaneously with the loss of his powers and banishment from his only daughter, Octavia.

Meanwhile, last season Millie discovered that she was pregnant, and the season ended without Moxxie knowing about it. The trailer promises that won’t stay true for long, with Stolas pointing out that she’s pregnant while they’re in the I.M.P. office. The trailer additionally features snippets of songs and teases the first single “(I Don’t Want Ta Be) Nobody’s Baybay.” The single, and the complete Helluva Boss: Season Three, Part 1 (Original Soundtrack), is now available for pre-order HERE.

Season three promises to up the stakes for our favorite characters

Season three follows Blitzø and the I.M.P. crew as they continue taking jobs across Earth and Hell, while navigating their increasingly complex personal lives. While Blitzø and Stolas struggle to find out where they stand, Millie and Moxxie prepare for a life-changing surprise, and Loona takes on a larger role at I.M.P. Along the way, the team is thrown into a string of increasingly chaotic adventures that test both their skills as assassins and their relationships with one another.

As old enemies resurface and new opportunities arise, Season three delivers Helluva Boss’s signature blend of explosive comedy, over-the-top violence, and heartfelt character drama, as the team discovers that some of their biggest challenges can’t be solved with a weapon (unfortunately).

Like many good things in life, none of this will come easy for the characters at the center of each story. The foundation has been built, and now it’s time to lay down the floor for what is to come. One thing that Helluva Boss excels at is the richness of its storytelling, which can especially be seen in the progression between Blitzø and Stolas. The trailer also seems to tease at a change in Loona, Blitzø’s adoptive daughter, as she bonds with Stolas.

What are the challenges I.M.P. will face? We’ll just have to wait until October to see. In the meantime, perhaps it’s time to break our hearts all over again with a season two rewatch.
