Face Your Fears at the “CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD” Immersive Experience at San Diego Comic-Con [ACTIVATION]

Are you brave enough to F*&K with Frendo? Horror fans heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 are in for a twisted treat! Shudder and AMC+ are bringing the chilling world of Clown in a Cornfield to life with an immersive, scream-worthy activation from July 24–26 on the Hilton Gaslamp Grass Lawn.

Timed ahead of the film’s premiere on Shudder and AMC+ on August 8, this fully immersive horror experience drops fans into the eerie heart of Kettle Springs. The event kicks off with a terrifyingly cheerful Founder’s Day Parade that quickly devolves into a nightmare as attendees are led into a cornfield maze stalked by none other than Frendo, the nightmare clown at the center of the slasher franchise.

But getting in is easy; getting out is where the real horror begins.

Participants will be challenged to escape the maze by navigating their way to a locked tunnel. The catch? You must locate hidden keys before coming face-to-face with Frendo’s rage. Time is ticking, and your survival depends on your nerve, speed, and ability to outsmart a killer clown in his cornfield domain.

For those who manage to make it out alive, the reward is sweet: access to the Shudder and AMC+ Survivors’ Party. Expect horror-themed photo ops, creepy (but delicious) custom food and beverages, exclusive giveaways, and plenty of moments to scream, laugh, and celebrate your escape.
