Hoppers has been a surprise hit for Pixar Animation Studios, as well as their parent company Walt Disney Studios. This ecologically minded animated movie from director Daniel Chong received some surprisingly positive reviews amidst criticism over the movie being too “dark” for kids. The fact that it isn’t a sequel to any of Pixar’s previous movies have only highlighted how unique this one is in their ever-growing animated library. The result is that it’s quite popular in theaters. Sadly, you might not have been able to watch it in theaters for one reason or another. Fortunately, Disney is here to help out with that.
Disney and Pixar are proud to announce that Hoppers will finally be heading to home video months after its theatrical debut. When will that be, you might ask? Well, the digital version will be available for download in April 28, 2026 on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. The physical 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD versions will follow a month later on June 2, 2026. The physical release includes a SteelBook version, but all physical versions will contain exclusive bonus features. You can even check out a list of those features below:

Dieny and Pixar’s Hoppers Soon Available for Digital Download and Home Video in April and June 2026
If you didn’t get to catch Hoppers in theaters, then this is your lucky day! Or at least, it will be once you are able to obtain the movie either digitally or physically. Fortunately, it won’t be that long a wait. In fact, the digital version will be available in less than a week as of this writing. Thus, you can soon watch this ecological Pixar movie from the comfort of your own home.
