Did you get to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Friday the 13th? The original that started it all is getting an all-out blowout outdoor screening thanks to Street Food Cinema, Bloody Disgusting, and Paramount Scares in Los Angeles on Friday, June 13th.

In celebration of the iconic horror film’s 45th anniversary, fans are invited to The Autry Museum in Griffith Park for an unforgettable evening honoring Jason Voorhees and all things spooky. Guests can look forward to themed photo ops, swag giveaways, a spooky marketplace, interactive horror trivia, and more to be announced. A lineup of LA’s favorite food trucks will be on-site, offering delicious eats for purchase, alongside a full bar serving specialty cocktails inspired by the film.

Originally released on this day (May 9th) in 1980, Friday the 13th tells the terrifying story of a group of counselors at a remote summer camp who are stalked by an unseen killer as a dark secret from the camp’s past comes to light. The film became a landmark in the horror genre, launching a legendary franchise that has thrilled audiences for decades.

The screening will be held at the Autry Museum on their lawn on Friday, June 13th, 2025. Doors open at 8PM and the screening starts at 10pm.

General Admission Ticket: $25
VIP Ticket: $40 (includes early admission at 7:30pm and stadium chair seating in reserved section)

The Reserved section is premium seating in front of the screen, which is exclusively for Reserved ticket holders. You may arrive at any time. Seating is first come, first serve for both General Admission and Reserved sections. Chairs are not included.
