Marvel Studios had a special sneak peak at Avengers: Doomsday at D23 during their showcase presentation. Check out the special look that shows off more from Doctor Doom than we’ve seen up to this point.
The look was presented by cast members Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell. If you’ve been under a rock or don’t know what Avengers: Doomsday is about, here goes.
In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.
It stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Hayley Atwell, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, with Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on December 18th, 2026.
A Thrilling Look At Doom Fighting Our Heroes
The new footage sees Invisible Woman warning a collection of Earth’s mightiest heroes about the danger that Doom poses for everyone. It also sees Pedro Pascal’s Mister Fantastic confronting Doom with Thor threatening him as well. The clip seems to be similar to the footage that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel’s Hall H panel.
This is a reflecting point for Marvel overall with a lot of their future fortunes riding on this film doing well. They’re trying to recapture the magic that made them so popular around the release of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. They alsos debuted the new team of X-Men during the panel with a portion of the mutants being shown off including Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Maya Boyd as Storm, Inde Navarette as Rogue, and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister.
