We live in a time where the idea of California and Florida striking up an alliance seems like science fiction, but in the case of Civil War, it’s a very real possiblity. The new movie from Alex Garland stars Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Nick Offerman, and Cailee Spaeny. It releases in theaters on April 12th, 2024. The trailer above shows off more of the chaotic and quite frankly, depressing action from the new film.
The film comes from A24, who are behind some of the biggest and most thought-provoking films released. The budget is a record-high from the production company coming in at $75 million. So they’re really not messing around with this one. The synopsis is simple:
An adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through a near-future fractured America balanced on the razor’s edge.
