Yellowjackets Season 4 Debuts New Trailer
The journey to the End begins on November 20th for Yellowjackets. Paramount+ just revealed a final teaser for the upcoming season. And, things are getting untenable for our group of survivors. The nominated series premieres that Friday on the Paramount Plus Premium tier. And, you can expect fireworks when this story comes to a close.
Imagine how different things are going to be for these survivors after the events of the series? Heck, think about how different our lives are than they were at the beginning of Yellowjackets’ run. The new trailer completely spells it out. “The plane crashed. Our friends died. And the rest of us starved, and scavenged. We prayed, until they finally found us.” Get your emotions in order, because there’s going to be some turbulence in Season 4. Check out the teaser up top.
Paramount Excited To Conclude This Story
Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President of SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios explains, “Yellowjackets has become a cultural juggernaut; with season three shattering all previous records, we are thrilled to announce its renewal for a season four on Paramount+.”
The statement continues, “Ashley and Bart have masterfully crafted an utterly singular, genre-defying phenomenon: a perfect alchemy of psychological horror, survival thriller and coming-of-age drama that continues to captivate audiences worldwide, brought to life by our extraordinarily talented and beloved cast.”
What’s Up For Season 4?
Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama, YELLOWJACKETS is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness.
The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.
Who Is In The Show?
YELLOWJACKETS stars Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Oscar® and Emmy® nominee Juliette Lewis (Camping), Emmy® nominee Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything) and Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable).
The series also stars Warren Kole (Shades of Blue), Ella Purnell (Sweetbitter), Samantha Hanratty (SHAMELESS), Sophie Thatcher (Prospect), Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Steven Krueger (The Originals) and Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers). Jonathan Lisco (Animal Kingdom, Halt and Catch Fire) joins Lyle and Nickerson to serve as executive producer and showrunning partner.
