Another Milestone For Rob Liefeld
Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld is celebrating the “Summer of Youngblood.” It’s a season-long journey through the franchise that sparked the Image Revolution. Distributors might have sold out of Youngblood #100. But the title is headed back for another printing after popular demand. With two new covers, you can get in on the craze right now when it hits comic stands on August 5.
Youngblood #100 Is A Big Success
Rob Liefeld has crafted a number of characters in his day. But, Youngblood has to be pretty special for the creator. His Image Comics original just crossed issue #100 recently. And, the book is so popular that it’s headed back to the presses. People just can’t get enough of this creator-fueled title.
Badrock #1 is coming soon as well. So, go ahead and bookmark that title for the pull-list. There are some collectible covers available for Youngblood #100. In addition, the newest printing of the book comes with a special message from Liefeld. It’s always cool to see any of the original Image Comics creators look back at their work like this.
There will be two exciting, highly collectible covers for Youngblood #100, third printing. Cover A sees a new group of Image characters in Chapel’s crosshairs: Lona from Daniel Warren Johnson’s Do A Powerbomb, The Broken Man from Deniz Camp and Eric Zawadzki’s Assorted Crisis Events, and Liefeld’s own Avengelyne and Heirborne.
On Cover B, fans will spot some of their favorite Massive-Verse characters, including Mat Groom, Erica D’urso, and Igor Monti’s Cassia Costa from Inferno Girl Red, Kyle Higgins and Marcelo Costa’s Radiant Black, Bibi from Melissa Flores and French Carlomagno’s The Dead Lucky, and Ryan Parrott and Abel’s Rogue Sun.
