‘LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight’ Soon Rising Up With ‘Mayhem Collection’ DLC

By all accounts, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has been a massive success. Critics and gamers alike have praised this latest addition to the LEGO Batman games, especially for how varied the LEGO kits in the game were. I mean it. Every single iteration of Batman is in the game. You have the power to mix and match virtually every bit of Batman that has happened over the decades to your heart’s content. Thus, you can see why they have had so much success. It’s also why the news of an upcoming DLC is raising so much hype, especially since it stars the Joker and Harley Quinn in that DLC. It is called the Mayhem Collection, after all. And fortunately, we won’t have long to wait before we can find out if it’s as hilarious as it makes itself out to be.

Warner Bros. Games is proud to announce that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will soon have its Mayhem Collection DLC. In fact, that DLC will officially launch on September 18, 2026. All gamers who own the Deluxe Edition will receive this DLC automatically for free. If you have the regular edition though, then you will need to purchase it separately.

However, everyone who owns LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will still get something even if you haven’t paid an additional cent over the base price of the game. A new Absolute difficulty level will be added for free to the base game. This new difficulty level is basically an additional difficult level above the previous highest difficulty level, giving players an additional challenge to play against.

If you’re a fan of the Joker and Harley Quinn, then you might get quite a few laughs at this Mayhem Collection DLC. Judging by that trailer, it looks like we’re getting quite a bit of that in this DLC. Much of it due not only to the new Joker-themed Batman costume kits for the LEGO Bat-family, but also what appears to be a new story line that stars the Joker and Harley Quinn as they work together to break out of Arkham Asylum. All with Joker-themed weapons to boot, including a “pistol” that apparently fires a spring-loaded boxing glove. All in all, it looks like LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is going to get a very colorful DLC when this DLC drops.

And best of all, you won’t even have to wait long to see this Mayhem Collection DLC. As of this writing, September 18 is only three days away. It’s a very short time to wait for that DLC. In fact, you might even still be playing LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight even when the DLC drops. So hold on tight, and keep an eye on it if you’re interested in it.
