Getting a little touch of Animayhem at any time is always fun. Getting to do so at Comic-Con International (SDCC 2026)? Even better. The fine folks over at Hulu gave fans a chance to step into the worlds of Futurama and King of the Hill this year. Whether you’re having a snack or drinking an “Alamo,” this year’s activation is a run respite from the hustle and bustle of the convention Floor.

This year, Hulu Animayhem brought to life the worlds of Futurama and King of the Hill in their Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up. Located at Palm Trees Garden in the Gaslamp Quarter, fans were invited to join their favorite time-travelers, aliens, family men, and quirky neighbors in a fan-first immersive experience. Guests participated in character-inspired photo opp moments, enjoyed themed food and beverage offerings and received on-site goodies.
Hulu’s Animayhem descends on Comic-Con
As fans know, Futurama returned for a twelfth season in 2024. It’s continued to be a mainstay on Hulu since. So much so, in fact, that show returns for its fourteenth season on August 3rd. Comic-Con fans this year can step into that world this year, at the Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up. They can even treat themselves to some other-worldly snacks.
King of the Hill, for its part, has enjoyed the same longevity as Futurama. It’s now in its fifteenth season with no sign of stopping.
One our personal favorites of activation this year was the chance to hang out with the boys from King of the Hill. And by “hang out” we of course mean grab a can of Alamo (water… sadly….) and take your picture with the stand-up. Still, It’s a fun way to connect and interact with one of your favorite Hulu franchises.
