We already wrote about the Summer of Youngblood that Image Comics was putting on to celebrate the 100th issue of the classic comic series, but we didn’t know the absolutely massive number of people who’d want that 100th issue. The comic has already sold out completely at the distributor level. However, it is being fast-tracked for reprint by Image to keep up with the demand.
There will be three exciting covers to the Youngblood #100, second printing. On Cover A, Chapel’s gun sights will be trained on an all-new quartet of characters: Invincible by Cory Walker, D’orc by Brett Bean, Feral’s Elsie by Trish Forstner, and Fireborn by Patrick Mulholland. On Cover B, fans get to see an array of Ghost Machine characters, including Rook by Jason Fabok, Geiger by Gary Frank, Hyde Street‘s Mr. X-Ray by Ivan Reis, and Hornsby & Halo‘s Rose by Peter Snejbjerg. Both will be brought to life by colorist extraordinaire Brad Anderson. Lastly, and just in time for convention season, Cover C will be a black and white sketch cover featuring blank gun sights for fans looking to target their own favorite characters!
Here’s what Rob Liefeld had to say about the sellout.
“Wow! This is amazing! The return of Youngblood has exceeded every possible expectations! I have to thank all the partners and co-founders for stepping up and contributing this incredible sell out for Youngblood #100. I immediately contacted a few friends in comic biz, current Kings of Independents, and asked them if they’d help keep the celebration rolling! We are trying to make this truly unique and special and unlike anything we’ve done before. There is so much Youngblood and Youngblood related comics coming your way! Most of all, thank you to the incredible fanbase who continues to power this vision launched 34 years back!”
The second printing of Youngblood #100 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026.
What Is The Summer Of Youngblood?

The season-long celebration of the franchise that launched the Image Revolution. The festivities started with Youngblood #100, with an array of variant covers from Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestri, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino, Whilce Portacio, and Robert Kirkman released on June 10th via Image Comics.
It also included a new comic for Badrock that brought him his own title. If you like the laughs, the action, and the stakes of Youngblood, you’ll love Badrock.
