Sterling Point heads to Prime Video in August. We’ve got a first look at Ella Rubin’s part in Megan Park’s new YA series! This promises to be an emotional coming-of-age story.
Megan Park Brings the YA Drama
Prime Video unveiled some of Megan Park’s YA series, Sterling Point today. Fans can tune in for 8 episodes on August 5th. Sterling Point has a couple of first look photos for curious viewers as well. Park returns after the emotional tale of My Old Ass.
This time, Ella Rubin’s Annie is at the center with this coming of age drama. The 17-year-old inherits a mysterious island in Canada from her grandfather, and there are some family secrets waiting to be discovered.
Amazon MGM Studios teams with LuckyChap and Fake Empire for Sterling Point. Park is co-showrunner, director and executive producer. She teams with EPs Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
Sterling Point gets a new premiere date
Prime Video teases the drama. “Sterling Point is a heartfelt, coming-of-age drama led by 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin). Raised in New York City with her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.
“The cast also includes Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Talifeathers, and Missi Pyle.”
Sterling Point is created by Megan Park and produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire and LuckyChap. Park serves as a director, co-showrunner, and executive producer alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, under their Fake Empire banner and Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap.
