School Spirits premiered on Paramount+ in March 2023 and took fans by storm! Now, almost 2 years later we’re back in Split River High School. At the end of season one viewers finally learned what happened to Maddie (Peyton List). It turns out she never actually died. Instead, the spirit of Janet Hamilton (Jess Gabor) has possessed her body while pushing out Maddie’s spirit.
