The THS Take – A Steep Price But Worthy For Collectors

Quite frankly, its a pain to get all of Kubrick’s films together in one place. Between releases that have been region locked or out of print or hard to find, this box set answers all of that. it does that, even before we saw the special features, transfers, or packaging. So that’s a plus for fans of his movies. Outside of that, this is obviously a niche collector’s item for physical media fans. You really have to love Kubrick and his movies to drop $479 on a box set.

Doing the math on it, that’s $37 per movie, which, while steep, is around the normal price for a 4K release, especially a boutique label like Criterion Collection. So, for the next step, we’ll have to see how the transfers are and all the rest of the package with The Complete Kubrick.

You can pre-order The Complete Kubrick from Criterion Collection right now. It releases on October 20th, 2026.
