As the casts of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss entertain fans at LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, they also made sure to have a few major announcements as well. During the packed panel, Prime Video announced that the hit adult-animated musical comedy Hazbin Hotel has been renewed for a fifth and final season. From creator Vivienne Medrano, A24, and FOX Entertainment’s Bento Box Entertainment, the critically acclaimed series will return to Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Seasons three and four were previously announced and are currently finished recording. No release date has been set for them as of yet. However, this news will keep fans happy, if a bit sentimental. Though it will still be several years before the story reaches its conclusion, having a definitive end is certainly bittersweet.

About Hazbin Hotel

Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be “checking out” into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggi, and their first test subject, adult-film star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the “Radio Demon” reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality.

“I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion,” said Creator and Executive Producer, Vivienne Medrano. “I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends.”

“From its inception, Hazbin Hotel has pushed the boundaries of adult animation through bold storytelling, vibrant artistry, and unapologetic heart,” said Melissa Wolfe, Head of Animation, Amazon MGM Studios. “Vivienne Medrano and her team have built an extraordinary world that has captivated fans around the globe, and we’re thrilled to give the series—and its passionate community—a fitting, unforgettable final chapter.”

The Hazbin Hotel universe continued to expand beyond the screen in 2025, with Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway, the first-ever concert event celebrating the series. Hosted by series lead Erika Henningsen, the live concert took place on October 20, at New York’s historic Majestic Theatre in connection with the Season Two premiere screening. Produced by award-winning RadicalMedia, the event featured electrifying performances of the show’s hit songs from Seasons One and Two. Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway is now available to stream on Prime Video.

About Helluva Boss

Also announced at LVL UP Expo, the first half of the fifteen-episode third season of Helluva Boss will premiere on Prime Video in the fall of 2026. Following a mid-season hiatus, the second half of season three will premiere in 2027.

Set in Hell, Helluva Boss follows the hell-born imp Blitzo (the “o” is silent), the eccentric leader of I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), a small, chaotic assassination business able to run thanks to a magic grimoire, and a complicated situationship with the demon prince Stolas. Alongside his equally chaotic ragtag crew–Moxxie, a by-the-books marksman; Millie, a fiery and skilled assassin; and Loona, their snarky, hellbound receptionist–Blitzo takes on contracts to kill targets in the human world. Balancing their work with personal lives, the team constantly finds themselves in absurd, violent and darkly comedic situations.

Hazbin Hotel’s second season premiered on October 29, 2025 on Prime Video. Helluva Boss premiered the pre-existing two seasons with a new original episode, “Mission Zero,” on September 10, 2025.
