‘Minions And Monsters’ Coming Soon To Home Video

Minions and Monsters is the third and latest entry in Illumination’s Minions franchise. Having made its U.S. theatrical debut on July 1, 2026; it then went on to become the best-received entry in the series since the first Minions movie back in 2015. It’s not saying much, but when you look at just how widespread the little yellow guys are in popular culture, you realize that Illumination might be onto something. Enough so that people have been asking for a home video release of the movie so that they can enjoy it from the comfort of home. Fortunately, Illumination and Universal Pictures have heard, and are replying.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is proud to present the long-awaited home video release of Illumination’s Minions and Monsters. As you might expect, the digital version of this movie will be the first to be available on August 11, 2026 on digital platforms. If you want the very much physical 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD versions though, then you will have to wait for September 8, 2026.

Fortunately, both the digital and the physical versions of Minions and Monsters contain over 45 minutes of bonus features for you to enjoy. What are they, you might ask? Well, you can check out the full list of bonus features below:

Minions and Monsters Coming to Home Video on August 11 (Digital) and September 8 (Physical)

For all of you Minions fans, the news about the impending home video version of Minions and Monsters is probably quite the treat. Soon, you will be able to watch this movie from directors Pierre Coffin and Patrick Delage from the comfort of your couch. Really, the only bad news here is how long it will take for the physical version to arrive compared to the digital version. A month to wait to be able to get the 4K UHD / Blu-ray / DVD version of this movie is a bit of a wait. My only consolation is that it’s less than some movies to get from digital to physical. Heck, it’s about the same amount of time it took for this movie to go from theaters to the small screen, so it’s nowhere near as long as it could’ve been.
