Travis Scott Links Up With Heavy-Hitters
The Odyssey is dropping another banger with the new video for “When I’m Home.” Travis Scott, Ludwig Goransson and James Blake team up for an all-star game of their own. In the new atmospheric clip, Scott carries a literal torch on his way to find the path forward. It’s a massive cinematic spectacle, but what else would you expect from The Odyssey? The multi-talented rapper is clearly having the time of his life this summer. And, this is just the latest example of that fact.
On social media, Scott posted, “WHEN IM HOME VIDEO OUT NOW @ludwiggoransson @jamesblake @ no ig Nolan. All 3 of y’all are the best @theodysseymovie. Cactus jack squad walked me thru the valleys of Swiss for this one. And Mahfuz non the less.”
It’s an exciting time for the recording artist as he plays a small role in Nolan’s latest film. His casting along with a litany of other stars has helped propel this massive cinematic moment into one of the biggest movies of the summer. Check out the new video for “When I’m Home” up above.
How Good Is The Odyssey?
Do we really need to answer? Well, according to our buddy Perri Nemiroff over at Collider, This is a absolute meal of a film. No one is in his bag completely and audiences should leave the theater satisfied.
“THE ODYSSEY is a filmmaking feast. A grand and gripping rendition of Homer’s epic, and one that feels uniquely Christopher Nolan,” she wrote. “It’s sincerely hard to imagine any other filmmaker on the planet being able to bring that source material to screen with this much scale, scope and heart.”
What’s The Movie About?
Based on Homer’s legendary poem, The Odyssey follows the long and perilous journey of Odysseus as he struggles to return home to Ithaca following the Trojan War. Facing mythical creatures, vengeful gods, impossible temptations, and the consequences of his own decisions, Odysseus must endure years of hardship before reuniting with his family.
Christopher Nolan writes and directs the epic, which stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside an ensemble cast that includes Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, Mia Goth, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Corey Hawkins, and John Leguizamo. The Odyssey sails into theaters worldwide on July 17, 2026.
