Alright fans. If you tuned in to Star Wars Fanatics last night, you got to hear about leaked concept photos for Star Wars: Episode IX. While the photos confirmed a bunch of rumors (including one about Richard E. Grant’s character), they also led to some interesting questions. The biggest among them? Which characters do you think will survive Episode IX?
Rey, whether fans like it or not, is the heart of the new trilogy. She represents the idealism and desire for good that permeated the original trilogy of films. Rey, frankly, is one of the only characters that has seen any real character development through the first two sequel trilogy films. Consequently, Rey will be the one to defeat the rising threat, whether from Kylo Ren, the Knights of Ren, or some other threat from the Beyond.
Prediction: 95% chance of survival.
