Ahsoka Comes At An Interesting Time For Star Wars

Star Wars is at a bit of a crossroads culturally. The latest movie The Mandalorian and Grogu didn’t light the box office aflame and audiences seem to be a bit over the property as a whole. While the movies have been floundering, the TV series have been doing heavy lifting with great shows like The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the animated division carrying the team on its back with shows like The Bad Batch and Maul: Shadow Lord.

Ahsoka season two doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel, but it does need to keep up the great standard that Star Wars TV has upheld in the Disney+ era. We’ll have to see how it looks when it releases next January 20th.
